It is a wonderful feeling when we cross over into a new year with our loved ones. For the family of 23 year old Curtlan Fanis alias “Biker”, of Micoud this will not be the case.
On Saturday December 28, 2019 a large crowd of onlookers stood in the Micoud Village watching the lifeless body of Biker, lying beside his motorcycle on the ground on Pater Noster Row.
Fanis was traveling along Philladephia Row when he lost control of his motorcycle hitting a bystander and a parked jeep then slammed into the wall of a bridge hitting another person who was seated on the bridge. Fanis and his bike came to a halt on Pater Noster Row.
Biker sustained serious head injuries and was taken to the St Judes hospital where he was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
